Welcome to Introduction, Philosophy and Instruments of Islamic Finance!
Objective: The principal objective of this course is to impart knowledge and expertise in the field of Islamic finance. It enables the student to understand the basis of Islamic finance; differentiate the elements between the Islamic financial system and its conventional counterpart. The course will also cover the theories and concepts of the Islamic financial instruments used in the industry. Synopsis: Topics include institutional aspects to equip students with the philosophy and objectives of learning Islamic Finance. Other than that, it will develop an understanding of the rules and regulations governing and explain on the concept of operation provided by Islamic Finance.
